The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Morro by Tenuta Mattei is born in vineyards located in the province of Ancona, in the heart of the Marche hills.It is produced exclusively with Lacrima di Morro d'Alba grapes, harvested manually and partly by machine in the coolest hours of the day. After a short cold maceration of the must, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine rests on its pomace, followed by ageing for a few months on the fine lees, and for a further period in the bottle before its marketing.Morro by Tenuta Mattei has a concentrated purple-red colour typical of the variety. The nose opens with fruity hints of black currant, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry, enriched by evident floral notes of rose and wild violet. On the palate it is intense and decisive, with a characteristic hint of undergrowth fruits.Perfect to accompany first courses typical of Italian cuisine, this red wine is ideal in combination with spicy dishes and cold cuts.
