Erste Neue Puntay Lagrein Südtirol - Alto Adige Riserva DOC 0,75 ℓ

Lagrein Riserva from the Puntay line of excellence by Erste + Neue is made from grapes grown along the shores of Lake Caldaro, on alluvial soils rich in sand, gravel and clay, where they find an ideal habitat. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers. Aging for 18 months in barrique follows with subsequent passage in large French oak barrels in order to perfect its organoleptic characteristics. Wine with an intense ruby red color, it expresses itself on the nose with a complex bouquet, made of fruity aromas of dark cherry and blackberry in balance with a caressing spicy mantle. It conquers the palate for its full and soft taste and its well-harmonized tannins thanks to the passage in barriques that anticipate a long and persistent finish. Perfect in combination with game and game dishes, it goes well with red meats and medium-long-aged cheeses.
