Les Crêtes Chardonnay Valle d'Aosta DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Aosta Valley Chardonnay of Les Crêtes was born in the Frissonnière vineyard in the municipality of Saint Christophe and Les Crêtes in the municipality of Aymavilles. It is produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested by hand in mid-September. The grapes undergo a soft pressing and ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C for 12 days. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees with bâtonnage for 6 months. It is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose opens with delicate floral hints, enriched with pleasant notes of banana, plums and broom. On the palate it is soft and savory, with a pleasantly mineral taste. Perfect to accompany appetizers, first courses and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with white meats, red meats and aged cheeses.
