The Brachetto d'Acqui by Gancia is a sweet sparkling wine made from Brachetto grapes, an aromatic variety typical of Piedmont. Its vinification involves a light maceration of the skins to extract color and characteristic aromas.The must ferments partially until it reaches a low alcohol content and is then kept at a controlled temperature before the second fermentation. The slow refermentation occurs in large containers according to the Martinotti Method.Ruby red in color with garnet highlights and a fine perlage, it has a delicate, musky aroma with clear notes of rose and ripe fruit.
