Cannonau di Sardegna Mustazzo was born in Barbagia, a fascinating region located in the center of Sardinia, not far from Nuoro. The old vineyards are located at 600 meters above sea level, in an area with strong temperature variations. The grapes are destemmed and softly pressed, to then be fermented and macerated with delestage. The wine obtained ages in wood and concrete. In the glass it has a ruby red color. On the nose, clear fruity hints of blackberry and undergrowth emerge, in addition to balsamic notes. On the palate the wine is fresh and dynamic, with lively tannins and a long, fleshy finish. It is ideal to accompany roasted and grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
