In the work of Feudi di San Gregorio, Sacconi arises from a targeted selection among the available vineyards, aiming to offer a coherent interpretation of the territory through a white wine focused on freshness and aromatic definition.How it is producedAfter harvesting, the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature between 18–20 °C. Malolactic fermentation does not take place to maintain a taut character and evident freshness. Ageing follows in steel on fine lees for 8–10 months, with weekly bâtonnage, and then a further rest in bottle for 12–18 months, to harmonize the components without any passage in wood.Tasting notesIn the glass it appears straw yellow with golden highlights. On the nose, citrus aromas of kumquat are perceived, followed by yellow melon and hints of Mediterranean scrub; nuances of curry and a resinous note are added.
