Louis Jadot Pommard AOC 0,75 ℓ

Louis Jadot's Pommard, renowned for its intense character and aromatic depth, comes from the village of the same name located between Volnay to the south and Beaune to the north, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Here, limestone and clay soils give the wine a deep color and intense aromas of blackcurrant, musk and game. Winemaking involves destemming the grapes followed by maceration in open tanks for 4 weeks, encouraging the full expression of the terroir. Aging continues for 18 months in oak barriques, enriching the wine with complexity. With a ruby red colour, the nose offers an intense aromatic profile, with a prevalence of black fruits, notes of leather and a light touch of spices. These aromas deepen on the palate, where a robust structure is manifested with well-present but ripe tannins, accompanied by good acidity which contributes to a long and rich finish. It pairs beautifully with red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses, enhancing their richness and depth of flavour.
