Girlan Doss Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva 0,75 ℓ

Girlan's Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Doss comes from the Oltradige hills in the Girlan sub-area and from Bassa Atesina. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 450-500 meters above sea level, in well-ventilated vineyards with sandy, warm and deep soils. These elements give the wine its unique character. The harvest takes place manually in small containers to guarantee the integrity of the grapes during transport to the cellar. After destemming, the must is transferred by gravity into stainless steel vats where it ferments for 15-20 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in small and large oak barrels, followed by a further 6 months of refinement in the bottle. At sight, the wine is full-bodied and intense in color. On the nose, spicy and ripe fruit aromas emerge. On the palate, it offers a beautiful persistence and elegance, with round and fine tannins that contribute to its complex and harmonious structure. It pairs perfectly with red meats, game and spicy cheeses.
