Biodynamic Chenin Blanc W.O. Stellenbosch Reyneke - Reyneke Wines

The grapes for this pure Chenin Blanc come from the two oldest vineyards of the winery. The vines were planted there in the mid-1970s. The almost 50-year-old vines no longer have much yield, but they ensure incredible depth. The expansion takes place in a combination of French barriques in second filling and in large wooden barrels (Foudrés) with 2,500l capacity. The wine ages on the lees for ten months before being bottled. Wonderful aromas of lemon, orange blossom, pear and yellow apple on the nose. Complex on the palate with a beautiful glaze and a long-lasting finish.
