Banfi L'Altra Barbera d'Asti DOCG 0,75 ℓ

Barbera d'Asti L'Altra di Banfi comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Strevi, in the province of Alessandria. It is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, harvested entirely by hand once the optimal ripeness of the bunches has been reached. After a short cold maceration the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24 ° C for 5-7 days. Malolactic fermentation follows, carried out partly in steel and partly in barrique. It is characterized by a very intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a fresh and complex bouquet, with fruity hints of cherry and plum. On the palate it is full and dry, with sweet tannins and a pleasantly long and harmonious finish. Excellent to accompany the aperitif moment, it is ideal as a wine for the whole meal.
