Pouilly-Fumé AOP - Antoine de la Farge

Pouilly-Fumé AOP - Antoine de la FargePouilly-Fumé AOP - Antoine de la FargeThe Pouilly-Fumé from the Val de Loire wine-growing region is a bright light yellow in the glass. When swirling the glass, you can perceive an exceptional balance in this white wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. In the glass, this white wine from Antoine de la Farge shows aromas of green apples, complemented by lime and green grass. The Antoine de la Farge Pouilly-Fumé presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine connoisseur. This white wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a premium and single-vineyard wine. The texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Val de Loire region delights with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of green apple. Vinification of the Antoine de la Farge Pouilly-Fumé The basis for the balanced Pouilly-Fumé from France are grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Recommendation for Antoine de la Farge Pouilly-Fumé This French wine goes perfectly with fruity endive salad, vegetable salad with beetroot or omelette with salmon and fennel .
