Chardonnay Haardter Ortswein Andres

This truly exceptional Chardonnay comes from the Haardter Herzog and Mandelring vineyards with their calcareous marl soils. Aging for approximately six months in two- to three-times-used barriques imparts a beautiful creaminess and subtle spice. The nose is multifaceted with aromas of pears, ripe apples, vanilla, and tropical fruits. On the palate, it is complex with great richness, pronounced salinity, a hint of brioche, and very delicate, complementary toasty notes. Impressive intensity rounds off the experience with a magnificent finish.
