Gin Peter in the Navy Navy Strength was born in Tuscany, from which most of its botanicals also come. The production method has its roots in the history of gin, born in Holland in the 18th century but closely linked to Great Britain, where the Royal British Navy played an important role in the production of a high alcohol content gin and its administration to sailors during long crossings. Among the botanicals used in the infusion, in addition to the ever-present juniper, there are iris roots and petals, lemon and bergamot peel, cardamom and coriander seeds.
