The Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva Duca Sanfelice comes from vineyards located in the Cirò Classico area, at the foot of the Sila plateau.It is made exclusively from Gaglioppo grapes, carefully hand-picked and selected around the first ten days of October. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a maceration period of 7-10 days. Subsequently, the wine matures in the same containers for about 3 years before being bottled.The Duca Sanfelice by Librandi features a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights. On the nose, it reveals rich and intense spicy aromas, enhanced by pleasant notes of cinnamon and licorice. On the palate, it is harmonious and velvety, with a pleasant aftertaste of tobacco and licorice.Perfect to accompany meat ragù dishes and roasts, it is ideal paired with braised red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
