San Silvestro Ruj Barbaresco DOCG Jeroboam 3 ℓ, In Holzkiste

Barbaresco di San Silvestro belongs to the Ruj collection, which in Piedmontese means oak, the type of wood used for aging wines. After vinification, the wine ages for at least 26 months, of which 9 in large Slavonian oak barrels. Ruby red in color with garnet hues, the nose reveals floral and fruity aromas, accompanied by balsamic and ethereal notes. Excellent in combination with noble poultry, such as roast pheasant or pigeon, but also with ossobuco and aged cheeses.
