Ventepico is a Spanish white wine from Bodega Venta d'Aubert, born in the 1980s in the heart of Matarraña. Sustainable viticulture practices include hand harvesting, plant covers and minimal use of sulfites. Ventepico is made from Grenache Blanc and Chardonnay. The vinification involves the fermentation of the Grenache Blanc in stainless steel tanks and the aging of the Chardonnay in new French oak barriques for 8 months. At sight, it has a yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of peaches, melon, yellow peppers, mint and notes of wild flowers. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, fresh, elegant and delicate. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish, chicken and vegetarian stews.
