Farm House Estate Wine Red Blend W.O. Stellenbosch Spier

The grapes for this Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon come from selected locations. After the hand-picking, the gentle expansion in the cellar follows with as few interventions as necessary. The wine matures for 12 months in French barriques, after a strict organoleptic evaluation only the best barrels are selected for Spier's showpiece. The wine is then stored in the bottle for at least half a year before it is released on the market. Wonderful nose with aromas of black currants, blackberries and dark chocolate. On the palate, the juicy fruit is joined by a hint of leather and vanilla. Great structure with grippy tannins.
