Pure Chenin Blanc from the best locations at the winery in Stellenbosch. The hand-picking takes place in several passes in order to obtain the optimal depth of aroma. The grapes are pre-cooled in the cellar and then gently pressed. Fermentation and storage takes place in a combination of older French oak barrels and ceramic eggs. Only the best wines were selected for the final blend at the end of ten months of aging on the lees. The wine is bottled unfiltered, so natural deposits may occur. Delightful nose of butterscotch, apricots and a hint of citrus. Full-bodied and soft at the same time on the palate, the citrus flavors find a delicious contrast in notes of honeycomb and brioche.
