Famiglia Cotarella Sodale Lazio IGT Merlot 0,75 ℓ

The Sodale red wine of Tenuta Montiano is a creation of the Cotarella winemaker. The wine is made from 100% Merlot grapes which, once in the cellar, are fermented in steel tanks. After a 20% drain, fermentation begins, during which pumping over and délestage are carried out. The wine thus obtained ages in barrique for 9 months. Intense ruby red in color with violet reflections, it is expressed on the nose with a bouquet reminiscent of licorice, dark chocolate, cardamom and porcini mushrooms. The sip is powerful and juicy, with well-mannered tannins and a persistent finish. Excellent with game and grilled meats, as well as aged cheeses.
