The Akashi Meïsei, which in Japanese means celebrity , is the limited edition of the Blended Whisky. The White Oak distillery was founded in 1888 but has been producing whisky in a traditional way and in small quantities only since 1919. The actual distillation process began in 1984, the year in which the company built a new establishment.It consists of grain whisky and single malt whisky aged in white American oak barrels for 3-4 years. With a light amber appearance, it opens with deep sensations of barley malt, oak, and vanilla, which linger on a floral background. On the palate, it is soft, round, and spicy, with hints of vanilla and oak recurring in the finish.Serve neat.
