Feudi di San Gregorio Taurasi DOCG 0,75 ℓ

Feudi di San Gregorio's Taurasi is produced in vineyards located in the heart of the Taurasi DOCG.It is made with pure Aglianico grapes, harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation with maceration takes place in steel tanks for about 3 weeks. The wine is then aged for 18 months in medium toasted French oak barriques and for a further 9 months in the bottle before being released.This Taurasi has a bright ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense notes of sour cherry and morello cherry, enriched with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and aniseed. The palate is full and balanced, with soft tannins that accompany a pleasantly aromatic and persistent finish. A wine of great longevity, it is the perfect accompaniment to roast red meats. Ideal with game birds and braised meats.
