Erste Neue Puntay Kalterersee - Lago di Caldaro Classico Superiore DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Kalterersee of the Puntay line of excellence by Erste + Neue is produced exclusively from Schiava grapes that benefit from the soil rich in calcareous pebbles and gravel located near the Mendola, in Oltradige, and a temperate-alpine climate. Produced from a blend of only Schiava, it is the result of a traditional fermentation in steel, followed by aging in oak barrels and for a small part in tonneaux where the malolactic fermentation takes place first. It has an intense ruby red color with a garnet edge. The olfactory impact is the characteristic one of the original grape variety, with pronounced fruity perceptions that recall cherry combined with a light touch of almond. On the palate it impresses with its good structure and long persistence. It goes perfectly with fish soups and speck.
