Grappa di Brunello Riserva, produced by Nannoni Grappe, is a very high quality grappa obtained from fresh Sangiovese Grosso pomace, coming from the production of Brunello di Montalcino. The distillation takes place with a discontinuous method, using steam boilers and a low-grade discontinuous column. The pomace is softly pressed and distilled within 48 hours of racking, guaranteeing maximum freshness and quality of the final product. This distillate matures for 20 years in French oak barriques. Upon visual examination, this Grappa has a deep amber color, while on the nose it offers complex notes of candied orange, leather, vanilla, toasted dried fruit and tobacco. On the palate, it is enveloping and velvety, with a long and persistent finish, characterized by nuances of candied fruit and spices.
