The finish of this red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige winegrowing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone-dominated soils. Vinification of Destrani Franconia by Pravis The basis for the balanced Destrani Franconia from Italy is grapes of the Blaufränkisch variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into limestone soils. After hand harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house, where they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After it is complete, Destrani Franconia can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees. Food recommendation for Destrani Franconia by Pravis This Italian red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompanying wine to boeuf bourguignon, fried calf’s liver with apples, onions and balsamic sauce, or vegetable couscous with beef meatballs.
