Different vinification methods are also combined for red wine. Around 30% is fermented in amphorae, the rest in steel tanks. The wine is then stored in barriques and wooden barrels. Cannonau tends to have high alcohol levels, but this cuvée gives a very harmonious overall impression, supported by 5% Tintillu, as the intensely colored Alicante Bouschet is called here. Intense ruby red, pleasantly cool in aroma, dark fruits such as plums dominate. Very present with soft tannins. The wine is deliberately neither clarified nor filtered.
