The name speaks for itself, the Montes Limited Selection is a series of selected wines that perfectly combine their origin and grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère for the red blend come from the Montes wineries in Marchigüe and Apalta. All grapes are picked by hand and strictly sortedAbout half of the wines are aged in French oak (40% new barrels) and in concrete tanks, then both batches are blended and bottled. Vineyard, grape variety, maturity in barrel or concrete, every detail shapes the character of the cuvée, underlining its complex aromas of sun-ripe wild berries, candied cherries, sweet pastries and vanilla, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Harmoniously balanced, powerful, lively, with silky tannins andlong finale.
