Vinification of Finca Losada Losada This powerful red wine from Spain is vinified from the Mencia grape variety. The grapes for this Spanish red wine are harvested exclusively by hand once optimal ripeness has been ensured. After hand-picking, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for 10 months in oak barriques.
