The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of loam, loess and clay. The grapes for this sparkling wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand, at the time of optimal ripeness. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After the cuvée has been put together, further aging follows on the basis of classic bottle fermentation. Subsequently, the Klumpp Riesling Sekt Brut matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
