The Masi Tupungato Passo Doble presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine enthusiast. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully silky. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Passo Doble is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Mendoza finally impresses with considerable reverberation. Vinification of the Masi Tupungato Passo Doble The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée Passo Doble from Masi Tupungato are Corvina and Malbec grapes. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, Passo Doble is aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. The aging in oak barrels is followed by extensive bottle aging, which makes this red wine even more complex. Food recommendation for the Passo Doble by Masi Tupungato This Argentinean is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect to accompany leek soup, braised chicken in red wine or cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables.
