Vinification of the Fontanafredda Barolo from Fontanafredda This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Nebbiolo. Only first-class grapes were used for this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Fontanafredda. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood and bottle fermentation at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
