Vinification of the Rosé La Grande from Weingut Pfaffl The powerful Rosé La Grande from Austria is a cuvée vinified from the Saint Laurent and Zweigelt grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Lower Austria. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sandstone, clay and marl. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Rosé La Grande is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
