Dadine AOC - Châtau de Haute-Serre
Dadine AOC - Châtau de Haute-SerreThe Dadine from Châtau de Haute-Serre in Sud Ouest presents a dense, purple-red color in the swirled glass. At the rim there is also a transition in color to garnet red. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and richness, which shows in the church windows on the glass wall. With a bit of time in the glass, this Old World red wine offers delightfully distinguished and complex aromas of blackberry and strawberry, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by maturation in wooden casks. This red from Châtau de Haute-Serre is a good choice for all connoisseurs who prefer as little residual sugar in wine as possible. At the same time, it never appears meager or harsh, as one would naturally expect in the icon-wine segment. Thanks to its vibrant acidity, the Dadine appears wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this matured red wine from the Sud-Ouest region, more precisely from Cahors, ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay- and loam-dominated soils. Vinification of Châtau de Haute-Serre Dadine The basis for the powerful Dadine from Sud-Ouest is grapes of the Malbec variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sud Ouest. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of loam and clay. Without question, the character of the Dadine is shaped by more than just the soils of Cahors. This French wine can, in the truest sense of the word, be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself as extraordinarily refined and complex. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled. Food recommendation for Dadine from Châtau de Haute-Serre This French wine works perfectly as an accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, but it is also a pleasure to drink on its own.| Cena |
