Some wines are dry, others bone dry. This red belongs to the latter, as it was bottled with just 0.1 grams of residual sugar. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Syrah presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of black cherry and plum show. Vinification of the Syrah from Rings The basis for the powerful Syrah from the Palatinate are grapes from the grape variety Syrah. The Syrah is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, because this German wine breathes an extraordinary European charm, which clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in the at controlled temperatures. Food recommendation for Rings Syrah This German wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, ossobuco or vegetable couscous with beef meatballs.
