The mousse of this sparkling wine appears in the glass as lively and long-lasting. Poured into a sparkling wine glass, this sparkling wine from the Old World presents wonderfully noble and complex aromas of green apple, lemon, brioche and peach, rounded off by broom. Light-footed and multi-faceted, this crisp, creamy and light sparkling wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this sparkling wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region finally delights with a lovely length. Hints of lemon and brioche appear again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone- and gravel-dominated soils join in. Vinification of Furlani Velato The basis for the elegant Velato from Italy is grapes from the Maor and Lagarino Bianco varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here the vines drive their roots deep into soils of limestone and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation of the base wines then takes place. Food recommendation for Velato by Furlani This Italian sparkling wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 5–7°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, fruity endive salad or omelet with salmon and fennel.
