Here, the vines sink their roots deep into clay soils. The Vi De Visciola is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
