50 year old vines on a plateau in Stromberg,Porphyry soils, volcanic. Low yields of small-berry, thick-skinnedMüller-Thurgau, almost like Riesling – a rarity. The wine is highExtract values that give it a melty fullness and creaminess. Itis an exceptional version of a Müller-Thurgau that is veryis slim and pure. Fine apple notes, ripe lemon and white peachare present. Earthy and stony nuances dominate the nose. The wineshows a wonderful train in the mouth with lots of white fruit, accompanied byslightly greenish-herbal reflections. In contrast to Riesling, theFocus here not so much on citrus fruits, but rather on green onesPear and red apple. The wine is extremely delicious, charming, ripe and yetslightly greenish, as is typical for this winery.
