Museum Numerus Clausus Tempranillo Cigales DO - Finca Museum
Museum Numerus Clausus Tempranillo Cigales DO - Finca MuseumWith the Finca Museum Museum Numerus Clausus Tempranillo Cigales, a first-class red wine finds its way into the swirling glass. It presents a wonderfully dense, ruby-red color. When the glass is tilted slightly, a transition of the wine’s color towards garnet red can be seen at the rims of this barrel-aged wine. Swirling the glass reveals the high density and richness of this red wine, which shows in the church windows on the glass wall. On the nose, this Finca Museum red wine presents all sorts of blackberry jelly. As if that were not already impressive, maturation in small wooden barrels adds eucalyptus, mineral notes and blueberry. This Spanish wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As one would expect from a wine in the icon wine segment, this Spaniard enchants, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Flavor simply does not necessarily require sugar. Powerful and multi-faceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this matured red wine from the Castilla y León wine-growing region, more precisely from Cigales DO, finally thrills with an extraordinary length. Vinification of Finca Museum Museum Numerus Clausus Tempranillo Cigales The basis for the powerful Museum Numerus Clausus Tempranillo Cigales from Spain is grapes of the Tempranillo variety. Of course, the Museum Numerus Clausus Tempranillo Cigales is influenced by more than just the Cigales DO soil. This Spaniard can, in the best sense of the word, be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive manner. The grapes for this red wine from Spain are harvested exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house, where they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for 30 months in barriques made of oak.
