This Speyside whiskey ages for 12 years in traditional and American oak barrels; the latter give this distillate elegant notes of vanilla and unrivaled softness. At sight it has a light golden yellow color. The scent is delicate and balanced, with evident hints of pineapple enriched with hints of honey and cinnamon. The taste is fresh and creamy, with a long finish on notes of almond and apple. Excellent smooth or diluted with a few drops of water. Try it with seared scallops and chorizo, typical cold cuts of the Iberian peninsula.
