Vinification of Schug Pinot Noir Estate Grown After very careful hand-picking of the Pinot Noir grapes, they are immediately brought to the winery. There, the harvested fruit is strictly selected and only the best grapes are used for this red wine. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wonderful nuances of spice and tobacco and the perfect tannin structure are provided by maturation in wood. This wine is aged exclusively in the finest barriques made from French oak. The barrel aging lasts at least 16 months.
