Toscana Rosso Il Pareto comes from the vineyards of the historic Tenuta di Nozzole farm, in the Florentine municipality of Greve in Chianti. The ancient Nozzole farm dates back to around 1300 and has always been famous for the production of excellent quality wines. Produced exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, Il Pareto is born following the harvest of the grapes in the second half of October. The harvest is followed by the alcoholic fermentation phase in thermo-conditioned stainless steel vats, with maceration on the skins lasting 21 days. The wine subsequently ages for 36 months in French oak barriques. Having reached the final process, this wine ages for a minimum of 6 months in the bottle before being released on the market. Characterized by an intense ruby red colour, Il Pareto has spicy olfactory notes, reminiscent of vanilla, with typical accents of berries, dried plum and pomegranate. On the palate it is dry and persistent, with soft and diffuse tannins that make it an elegant wine. Ideal to serve with meat, it is perfect in combination with braised meats and game.
