Semillon - Boekenhoutskloof

Vibrant aromas of orange blossom, lemongrass, and beeswax open the 2022 Semillon from Boekenhoutskloof. On the nose, subtle notes of smoky minerality, black olives, licorice, and ripe plums complement each other. On the palate, the wine displays a refreshing citrus note that unfolds into more complex, nutty facets. The grapes come from vineyards over 80 years old in the Franschhoek Valley, where modern winemaking techniques meet. A small percentage of Muscat adds further depth and complexity.
