What kind of wine is it?Onirico by Prima Domus is a Tuscan red wine made from Sangiovese grapes and a small portion of Ciliegiolo. This territory is known for producing wines with a fresh and fruity character, featuring an essential structure and natural vibrancy.How is it produced?The grapes are harvested by hand in the second week of September, with careful selection of ripeness. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with a skin maceration of about ten days. Aging continues in steel before bottling.Tasting notesIt shows a lively ruby red color, typical of young Sangiovese. The nose reveals scents of cherry, blood orange, and small red fruits, with floral notes of violet and dog rose. The palate is fresh and smooth, with integrated acidity, crisp tannins, and an agile structure. The finish is harmonious, of medium persistence, with fruity returns and a slight savory hint.Food pairingsThis wine easily pairs with Tuscan appetizers like crostini with chicken liver or cured meats and goes well with tasty Mediterranean first courses thanks to its acidity and dry tannins.
