Il Poggio Safinos Aglianico del Taburno DOCG 0,75 ℓ

The Aglianico Safinos from the Il Poggio winery is produced in the splendid Sannio region, in the heart of Taburno. The harvest takes place in the last ten days of October. The must is fermented at a controlled temperature and the resulting wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and barriques. In the glass it has a compact and brilliant ruby red color. The olfactory profile expresses elegant aromas of black cherry, black currant and blueberry, with delicate toasted nuances in the finish. On the palate it is generous and fresh, with velvety tannins, presenting itself balanced and persistent. Recommended in combination with rich and elaborate first and second courses, it is perfect in the company of a grilled red meat.
