Terroir Torrontes - Kaiken Wines

The Kaiken Terroir Series takes us to Argentina's spectacular wine landscapes, from Mendoza up to Salta in the northwest of the country. Here, a little higher up, in Cafayate, the Torrontés Riojana grows at a good 2000 m. The region's favorite fragrant grape translates the endlessly sunny, dry desert climate of its homeland into wines with irresistible freshness and finesse. For the Terroir Series Torrontés, the grapes are picked by hand, strictly sorted, pressed in pneumatic presses, the must is naturally clarified by cold sedimentation and slowly fermented in concrete tanks. That's it. No wood, no BSA, but an abundance of fragrant aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits. Youthfully fresh, floral, lively on the palate, with distinctive mineral notes and a fine play of acidity.
