Marzadro Grappa Affina Riserva Ciliegio 1 ℓ, In Holzkiste

Affina is the line of grappas by Andrea Marzadro in which the effect of the different aging woods is measured. Riserva Ciliegio is a limited edition grappa obtained from pomace of Lagrein and Pinot Noir, distilled in a water bath in a discontinuous alembic still and, once assembled, left to rest for 10 years in small Prunus Cerasus cherry barrels. Before use in aging, the barrel is aged for 26 months and the bending of the staves takes place at the same time as a light roasting which is reflected in the organoleptic characteristics of the product. Intense amber color, it exposes a wide and elegant aromatic range to the nose. The taste is round, pleasantly sweet and complex, with an innovative and contemporary flavor. A grappa for demanding palates with a refined taste, it is excellent to be enjoyed smooth at the end of a meal or for meditation.
