Les Petits Travers Rouge Hérault IGP - Mas des Quernes

The Petits Travers are small plots surrounded by garrigue and trees. In recent years, we have gradually renewed the vines here. The main grape variety is Cinsault, supplemented in the cuvée by grapes from a new plot. We painstakingly uncovered it and planted it as a mixed batch with all the grape varieties permitted alongside the main grape varieties in the strict specifications of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation. They impart a delicate flavor and underscore the unique style. Jean Natoli has perfectly developed the juicy, fruity, and charming character of the Cinsault thanks to a relatively short fermentation and very careful vinification. The bright garnet red in the deliberately chosen white glass bottle is a feast for the eyes in itself. The first edition sold out in no time last year. Best enjoyed slightly chilled.
