Only grapes from the Corvina Veronese grape variety (100%) are vinified. Intense ruby red with purple highlights shimmers in the glass. The captivating bouquet reveals expressive aromas of juicy ripe berries (especially blackberries), black cherries and plums - accompanied by spicy nuances. On the palate, this Italian red wine impresses with a full-bodied taste that is supported by mineral notes and spice. The perfectly structured tannins are very well integrated and harmonize wonderfully with the lush fruitiness. The finish has a wonderful, pleasant length. Vinification of the Zenato Cresasso Corvina Veronese The grapes for this red wine are carefully harvested by hand in two phases. The first harvest period begins at the end of September. After the harvest, the Corvina grapes are dried on mats for 2 months and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. This wine then matures for 24 months in French oak barrels. The second harvest phase begins at the end of October. After the harvest, the overripe grapes are fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks. After blending the batches, this wine rounds off harmoniously in the bottle for at least another year.
