Muscat Petit Grain Côtes de Thongue IGP - Domaine Bassac

The highly aromatic Muscat à petits grains grape is better known in some regions as Yellow Muscat. Contrary to local tradition, fermentation is not stopped by adding alcohol, but gently through fine filtration. This results in a surprisingly delicate and refined wine with aromas of elderflower and a hint of nutmeg. Thanks to a touch of residual sugar, it has a lovely body and is delicious as an aperitif or with nut cake.
