Deep garnet to cherry red in color with ripe, rust-red highlights at the rim. The bouquet offers elegant aromas of precious woods on a background of dark fruits and spices. The palate is also very elegant, complex, and typical of the varietal, softly balanced with harmoniously integrated tannins and a delicately spicy roasted note that lingers into the long finish.
