Goleto is a white wine produced by Tenute Capaldo, a winery located in Irpinia, one of the most suitable wine-growing areas in Italy. The wine comes from vineyards located in the area of S. Paolo, in the municipality of Tufo.Greco di Tufo grapes are harvested by hand in October. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks, while the ageing takes place both in barriques (80% of the wine) and in amphora (20% of the wine) for one year. The wine rests in the bottle for 12 months before being placed on the market. Golden yellow in colour, the nose reveals aromas of white flowers, white peach and mineral notes. The sip is warm and elegant. Excellent in combination with seafood, from grilled fish to shellfish.
